Cooperation with Employee Representatives and Retirement Provision

We cooperate closely with the statutory employee representation bodies on all decisions that affect our employees. These comprise primarily the works councils of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion GmbH. Since 2015, ProSiebenSat.1 has also had a “European Employee Board” (EEB), which is a contact partner for the Executive Board in all international matters. A total of 51 % of the employees of ProSiebenSat.1 Group are represented by works councils (previous year: 54 %). The Group draws up company agreements together with the employee representatives, e.g. regarding working hours. The minimum notice period regarding operational changes is usually four weeks, but can be shorter or longer depending on the matter at hand. [G4-11G4-LA4, G4-LA5]

Within the framework of the social and fringe benefits, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE has also developed private pension plans in cooperation with the Works Council. The Company supports its employees with the conclusion of direct insurance, a pension fund and the payment of asset-building benefits. The Group works with insurance partners including the pension institution Versorgungswerk der Presse and provides financial subsidies. For private health insurance, ProSiebenSat.1 has arranged Group rates with various insurance companies. All employees are also covered by Group accident insurance. [G4-LA2]
